Ana Hickmann will present Record’s 70th anniversary special

Record TV has chosen Ana Hickmann and Sergio Aguiar to present a special anniversary for the broadcaster, which celebrated its 70th anniversary on 27 September. The “Special Record 70 Years” promises a retrospective of the station’s seventy years of contribution to Brazilian television, and will feature testimonials from several celebrities who have had an impact on the channel – part of this celebration has already been seen in some parts on ” Domingo Espetacular”.

Airing on 29 December at 10.45pm, the program offers a journey through Record’s history, remembering the extraordinary personalities who have passed through the station. Great names from television such as Ana Maria Braga, Eliana, Faustão, Raul Gil, Márcio Garcia and Rodrigo Faro will be awarded. The special will also pay homage to the station’s journalism, highlighting the work of veterans Celso Freitas and Roberto Cabrini. Masters of humor such as Tom Cavalcante, Renato Aragão and Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega will also be present, celebrating Record’s contribution to Brazilian humor. The station’s historical relationship with music will also be addressed, in particular with the era of festivals and Jovem Guarda.

The choice of Ana Hickmann as one of the presenters of the special comes at a challenging personal moment for the professional, after the attack by her ex-husband Alexandre Correa. Hickmann, who is going through a messy divorce, praised the support from Record and her colleagues, which is why she chose “Domingo Espetacular” to talk about the topic for the first time.
