Singer spoke about her next project – which is yet to be released – on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show
After the release of “What Was I Made For”part of the original soundtrack by Barbie (2023), fans of Billie Eilish can finally celebrate: the singer’s third album is “almost ready”.
Billie Eilish talked about the track, made for the film Greta Gerwigin an interview with The Tonight Showfrom the presenter Jimmy Fallon. Made after “a long day of fruitless attempts to create new songs” alongside the producer and brother Finneasthe song of Billie was nominated for a Golden Globe.
Fallon then asked Eilish whether she was working on a new album. The singer had already announced in September, on the Westwood One radio network segment The Cookout, that she had “a whole album of songs”, promising “a lot of music coming” for the future.
Now, Eilish confirmed that the album is “almost ready”. “At some point you will know more, but I won’t say anything.” Take a look at the moment below:
The third album will be the continuation of Happier Than Ever(2021), which helped Eilish to win five awards at the 62nd Grammy Awardsincluding Album of the Year, Song of the Year It is Record of the Year. It is worth remembering that the singer visited Latin America in March this year, including in Brazil, as headliner of Lollapalooza.
