Gospel singer Sulamita Alves suffered a serious car accident this Friday (15/12), while she was heading to Cuiabá (MT) for an event. The artist was accompanied by her husband, Ricardo Henrique, and a preacher.
The artist shared a photo of the overturned vehicle in the stories of her official Instagram profile and expressed her shock and gratitude for having survived. “Guys, we just had an accident. Even now I’m in shock, God took care of us,” Sulamita wrote, also showing the destroyed car in a video.
After the accident, Sulamita Alves and the others involved were taken to hospital for checks and, fortunately, they did not present serious problems.
In a new video, she appeared alongside her husband, who was sporting a black, swollen eye, to reassure her followers. “We are here to tell you that we are fine. Ricardo needed to do some tests, but nothing came back, thank God. We are literally fine. You saw that the accident happened, I will come here later to report what happened, Now I’m headless. The most important thing is that we are okay,” he said.
Sulamita Alves’ press office also issued a reinforcing note: “We want to reassure everyone by informing that our beloved singer and her husband are well after the accident that occurred this morning. God saved them in time. The press office is taking all necessary measures to ensure their safety and well-being. We will inform everyone of any news! We are immensely grateful for the brothers’ love and understanding at this time.”
