Singer Anita released this Monday (18), the viewer of his latest single of the year, Play for the Moonin collaboration with producers Pedro Sampaio AND DENNIS. The video brings together three Rio funk exponents in another mega-dance beat. Registered in the seaside resort of Cable fieldto the Rio de Janeirothe audiovisual was directed by the artist herself, in collaboration with the creative team of GINGA Pictures – who also collaborated with her on music videos such as Funk Rave, boys don’t cry AND El Que Espera.
Set in a scenario that seems to refer to the lunar soil, the viewer is characterized by the presence of dance. Ohana Lefundesknown for composing the ballet Anitainteracts with the singer in a modern choreography full of sensuality. “I love the result we got. My dance with Ohana is beautiful, super artistic. Plus, I had a lot of fun with Pedro and DENNIS on this set!”
With lyrics entirely in Portuguese, Play for the Moon catapults the listener into a warm and seductive environment. Like someone flirting with a suitor during a funk dance, Anitta sings in the first verses: “I saw you from afar / I was struck by the melody / It speaks that I traveled / Wanting that little mouth.”
In addition to Anitta, Pedro and DENNIS, the lyrics were also written by composers Gabriel Cantini (from the collaboration with Kevinho) and Shylton Fernandes (Pabllo Vittar and Zé Felipe). Sonically, in turn, this single mixes Rio funk with electronic music. The signature of this perfect duo is Pedro Sampaio and DENNIS. The song also contains samples of Grapesong by the funk group Os Saradinhos.
