A 20-year-old native of the country purchased a 2024 Silverado High Country, which arrives in Brazil two decades after the model was discontinued in the country
Singer Ana Castela celebrated, this Wednesday 27, her new purchase: a 2024 Silverado High Country pickup, from Chevrolet, sold in Brazil for only R $ 519,000. On social media, the 20-year-old country girl posted photos of the car, which was imported from Mexico and only 500 units exist in the country.
“Fruit of my work, sweat, tears, unmissable haters, happiness and dedication! Thank God, father and mother for never letting me give up. (I won’t know how to park, nor see who is on the street… but God yes takes care)”, joked the singer in a post on her Instagram profile.
In the stories, Ana Castela published more details about the truck and told more about the purchase: “I have wanted this truck for a long time, so I got my license [de habilitação] and I told my father: ‘Now that I have my license I can have my own truck'”.
“And that’s what happened, I worked hard, I had my money to buy it and finally I realized I had my truck and it’s here with me. Will I know how to get into a garage? No. Will I know how to get into the park? No. Will I be able to score a goal? God takes care of him,” Ana said.
The new Silverado went on pre-sale in Brazil last August and sold out in just an hour. The vehicle is Chevrolet’s best-selling vehicle worldwide, and its last generation was sold in Brazil between 1997 and 2001, when it was discontinued. Now the pick-up returns to the Brazilian market completely redesigned.
With only 500 units sold in the first batch and all in the High Country model, the pick-up has an exclusive configuration for the Brazilian market, with a 5.3 V8 petrol engine, producing 360 HP. The model purchased by the singer arrives in the exclusive Global Black color.
