Rapper Snoop Dogg was announced Monday (1/1) as a sports commentator for the Paris Olympic Games, scheduled for July 26. The musician will be one of the names on NBC’s coverage team.
According to the broadcaster, Dogg should share his opinion on what is happening in the Olympic disputes. The rapper will also be seen exploring major tourist spots in France and interviewing contestants from the United States.
“I grew up watching the Olympics and I’m excited to see the incredible athletes bring their A to Paris. It’s a celebration of skill, dedication and the pursuit of greatness,” the rapper said. “We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I’ll be bringing Snoop style into the mix. It’s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned and keep everything locked down.”
It’s not the first time!
It is not the first time that the musician has tried his hand as a sports commentator on the NBC network. In 2021, Snoop Dogg took charge of commentating on the Tokyo Olympics, together with Kevin Hart, without losing his good humor on the Peacock streaming platform.
