Rage Against the Machine ‘will not play live again’, says drummer

Brad Wilk, drummer for Rage Against the Machine, announced the end of the band this Wednesday, 3

For the third time, the Rage Against the Machine has come to an end. On the night of this Wednesday, 3rd, the drummer Brad Wilk published a text stating that the band will not return to the stage:

I know a lot of people are waiting for us to announce new tour dates for all the shows on RATM cancelled. I don’t want to arrest you or myself anymore. So even though there has been some communication that this could happen in the future… I want you to know that the RATM (Tim, Zack, Tone and I) will not be touring or playing live again. I apologize to anyone who was waiting for this to happen… I really wanted it to happen.

Formed by Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, Tom Morello It is Wilkin the early 1990s, the group took their first break in 2000, when Rock followed other steps. The remaining members then gave life to the Audioslavewith Chris Cornellwho left the band in 2007. In the same year, the Rage Against the Machine got together again and played what would be their last show, in 2011, at LA Rising.

In 2020, the band announced a new tour. With the pandemic, the performances were postponed until 2022. The vocalist, however, ruptured his Achilles tendon, which forced the cancellation of the other dates.
