During an interview with John Squire, Liam Gallagher complained about ‘me, me, me solo stars’ who don’t want to ‘share success’ with a band
Known for his participation in Oasisiconic English rock band, Liam Gallagher has a pretty strong opinion about the music industry right now. According to the singer, “no one wants to be in a band anymore” and criticized “‘me, me, me’ solo stars.”
The artist spoke about the subject during an interview with The Guardian beside John Squirewith whom he announced a 10-track collaborative album — recently, the duo released “Just Another Rainbow.” For Gallagherthis project is “the best album since Revolver [dos Beatles].”
In conversation with the website, the musician commented how, currently, there is “no” band worth his time or criticism, and took the opportunity to talk about his time in Beady Eye after the end of Oasis. “It’s a shame, because they would be getting it too,” she said.
“Nobody wants to be in a band and share the success these days. It’s all ‘me, me, me’ solo stars,” he continued. Right away, Liam Gallagher stated how he wants to keep the Oasis catalog alive, especially with the tour commemorating 30 years of Definitely Maybe (1994).
I won’t let the Oasis turn into one of those bands where you just wrap an album in cellophane every 10 years.
