The body was found in a vacant lot; the singer had been missing since January 5th
Compatriot Ton Ferreira was found dead in São José dos Campos, in the hinterland of São Paulo, this Friday the 12th. According to information from the G1, the body was found in an abandoned lot in the eastern area of the city. The case is being investigated by the 6th DP.
On the morning of Friday the 12th, the singer’s wife, Adriele Stephanie, posted a series of photos with her husband on her Instagram stories. “Forever, it will be my life,” she wrote.

Adriele opened a missing person (BO) report at the Electronic Police Station on the 5th, reporting Ton Ferreira missing in São José dos Campos, where they live. Since then, the Civil Police has been investigating the case, the Secretariat of Public Security of the State of São Paulo informs in a note.
Adriele reported to the police that Ton had gone out to sing in a club and, after the end of the show, had gone to pick up the keyboard player at home, but had never returned. The last contact with the compatriot occurred at 4.34 am.
According to the newspaper The valley, the musician’s wife would have received from a friend a video showing the singer in Taubaté (SP), while crossing the street towards this friend’s house, on Sunday 7th. In the recording, made by what appears to be a security guard’s camera, you can see the time: 1.23pm. This would be the last time the compatriot would be seen.
Ton’s white Fiat Uno was located by police, according to the newspaper. The vehicle was reportedly abandoned on the street of Cajuru, in São José dos Campos, but the car later disappeared again. After publication, police reportedly pointed out that the vehicle may have been stolen or taken by the singer himself and said they are investigating what happened to the car.
Who was Ton Ferreira
Ton Ferreira began his career at the age of 15, working with and accompanying his brother. In an Instagram post from December 2022, when he celebrated 18 years of his career, Ton spoke about the importance of work to him. “Music is part of my life. God gave me this gift to bring you joy,” he wrote.
The singer played in dance bands, formed duets and established himself in country music. He has already recorded with music producer Willian Santos, who has worked with names such as Lauana Prado and Maiara & Maraisa, Zé Neto & Cristiano, Paula Mattos and Thaeme & Thiago, among others.
In the same publication, Ton also praised the singer and composer Rodrigo Reys, with whom he has already collaborated. Rodrigo has already been recorded, for example, by Wesley Safadão. “I traveled a lot and worked a lot to get here. I stumbled, yes. I messed up, but I fell and got back up stronger. There are followers here who have supported me for more than ten years! I can only thank God and you everyone,” he said in the subtitle.
Ton was also a fighter. He identified himself in his social media bio as a capoeira, jiu-jitsu master and boxing competitor. On his profile there are countless videos of competitions on the tatami.
