The government of WE theory denied by journalist Jesse Watters, of Fox News, who accused Taylor Swift of secretly working for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
“About four years ago, the Pentagon’s psychological operations unit encouraged NATO to turn Taylor Swift into a resource to combat online disinformation,” Watters accused.
According to the presenter, Taylor Swift’s attempts to encourage fans to vote would be further proof that the artist had some kind of agreement with the American government. In the 2018 presidential election, the singer increased young voter registration after declaring support for the Democrats.
Sabrina Singh, a Pentagon spokeswoman, countered the reporter’s accusations that Taylor was a “secret employee” by the American government. He used an excerpt from the song “Shake it off”and said: “Regarding this conspiracy theory, we will have to get rid of it.“
