“The title of the album comes from a pun on one of the most classic phrases that Brazilians hear when learning English. It is a gap between my first album and the next sound in Portuguese, a pause in another language between these two moments”reveals Vic Brown.
With 4 tracks, The book is on the table it’s Vic’s encounter with songs that had been saved from 2018. Connecting with Gab Ferreira at an event made her remember the tracks, helping bring out a genuine feeling for the project’s launch. “I met Gab at a GenZ event where the two of us were clearly the only ones acting like millennials, even though we were young ourselves. We laughed a lot that night and exchanged contacts. Listening to Gab’s sound at home, I saw that she liked “The English singing style. This opened a window of motivation for me to release my old English songs that had been saved since 2018. I called it so we could compose a sound together from scratch to accompany this EP”, adds the artist.
Differentiating itself from traditional clips, Vic Brow has chosen to offer fans an exclusive composition day viewer, in collaboration with Gab Ferreira. In this way, the idea is to allow listeners to immerse themselves in the creative atmosphere behind the music.
