Smashing Pumpkins announced a vacancy for an additional guitarist; anyone could sign up
After announcing a vacancy for an additional guitarist, the Smashing Pumpkins stated that it received more than 10 thousand applications from people interested in the position.
At the beginning of the month, the group published an announcement on Instagram, ensuring that anyone could apply for the position. The place was previously occupied by Jeff Schroederwho left the band in October last year.

O Smashing Pumpkins is looking for an additional guitarist. The registration process is open to anyone who is interested. Applications can be made by sending a CV and related materials to SPGuitar@redlightmanagement.com

The band received over 10,000 applications for the additional guitarist position. There are currently eight people working full time to review each one.
