The band, led by Hayley Williams, was replaced by Kings of Leon. According to the press release released by the festival on Thursday 18th, the cancellation was due to “personal reasons”.
“It is with pleasure that we announce the band Kings of Leon as the headliners of Lollapalooza Brasil 2024?, reads the official post.
The festival offers the possibility of a refund for those who purchased tickets for Saturday – the Lollapalooza takes place on March 22, 23 and 24 – and the application can be submitted between January 19 and 28. More details on the refund conditions are available on the event website.
The Paramore team informed, again on the afternoon of Thursday the 18th, that other performances in Latin America have been cancelled. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Paramore will not be able to participate in Vive Latino México, Festival Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá and Lollapalooza Brasil, in São Paulo,” the text reads. “They will see you in the next era,” he concludes.
