Dennis Dj is accused of having used the phrase “Joga pra Lua” without authorization in his new collaboration with Anitta and Pedro Sampaio. The phrase is part of the slogan of the broadcaster NGB News, led by Carlos Eduardo Firmino.
On Instagram Firmino said that the artist even mentioned the new musical production on the occasion of an event in which he participated, but Dennis did not get back in touch to formalize the use of the term, which is registered with the INPI (Institute national industrial property rights).
“Good afternoon, my fans. It’s a day [que] We went to cover Dennis DJ’s dance and he said, in the dressing room, that he was producing a [música] with our slogan, who will contact us for more details!!! Because the song is now available on all platforms and no, our goodbye didn’t happen! Hi Dennis DJ, we’re waiting for you… Play for the moon, it’s a success!”
The publication also reports the print registration of the broadcaster’s slogan, which states that “the contractor will provide services relating to registration requests for the trademarks ‘Joga pra lua’, […]with the INPI and, above all, by monitoring the respective performance of the brand, any proceedings that may arise will involve costs deriving from INPI fees and fees relating to the notifications in question”.
Dennis DJ’s office has not yet commented on the situation.

In December, Anitta released the video for “Joga pra Lua”, recorded at night on a deserted beach (Arraial do Cabo, Rio). The clip shows the celebrity dancing on the sand and on a platform bathed in sea water, together with dancer Ohana Lefundes, in a provocative choreography. DJs also participate in the recording by striking striking poses.
