Lollapalooza Brasil announced this Tuesday (1/23) two shows outside of the main festival. This year, the American singer Fletcher and the duo The Drive Era will also perform on the Cine Joia stage in Sao Paulo.
On March 20, Fletcher will perform for the first time in Brazil with the special participation of Day Limns, an artist revealed on “The Voice Brasil” who has already collaborated with Vitão and Di Ferreiro, as well as being one of the opening artists of the tour” Cedo ou Tarde”, by NX Zero, at the end of last year.
The American singer-songwriter conquered the world in 2019, with the song “Undrunk” and the EP “The S(ex) Tapes”, released the following year. As of 2022, Fletcher has sold more than 200,000 tickets worldwide and performed at major festivals with her debut album “Girl of My Dreams”.
Fletcher also became famous for a performance alongside Miley Cyrus, which went viral in early 2023. This year she will release her second album and participate in new international tours as a headliner. The artist will also participate in Lollapalooza on March 22 along with bands such as Blink-182, Arcade Fire, The Offspring and Jungle.
The Driver Era, however, has a show scheduled for March 21st on the stage in Sao Paulo. The duo of brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch emerged in California in 2018, after wrapping up a previous project, “R5.” The sound mixes elements of pop, rock and electronic music. Ross Lynch, of course, is famous for another reason: he was a star of the Disney Channel and was most recently a cast member of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”
His band, which has “Prencher Man” as its debut single, will take the main stage at Lollapalooza on March 24 alongside Sam Smith, SZA, Gilberto Gil and Phoenix.
Tickets for the sideshows and the three-day festival are on sale via the official Ticketmaster website.
