Singer Marina de la Riva will present their sixth studio album, Shared roots this Sunday (3) at 18:00 in Paulo Autran Theaterat SESC Pinheiros of St. Paul.
Shared roots contains nine pieces full of Latin culture, texts of love, hope and sensitive messages.
The album was released in April of this year and delves into the history centered on music and culture between the songs written Brazil in Portuguese and Spanish which were composed in Cuba and all Hispanic countries.
Rumba, boleros and sauces have always been present in the intense relationship between Cuban and Brazilian music or even through the prejudice of modern and political music of the New exchangeby authors such as Silvio Rodriguez And Pablo Milanes. The singer leads all these elements with a contemporary Latin taste.

Marina de la Riva will share the stage with Gioab Reis (musical direction and trombone), Cuca Teixeira (battery), Sidiel Vieira (low), Pepe Cisneros (piano), Franklin Santos (percussion), Sidmar Vieira (trumpet), Cassio Ferreira (saxophone), Ed Woiski (Cuban tres) and string quartet from OSESP.
