“They had complete freedom to do whatever they wanted with the song. And what came out was a fascinating sound, which changed the drum beat and even had a different passage in the chorus. In fact, it reminds me Jackson Browne.”

‘Goin’ Blind’ it was a song I wrote with my schoolmate Stephen Coronel. At that time I didn’t think much about lyrics and I have no idea why I sat down and wrote lyrics like that. It was about an old guy. I remember a movie called ‘The old and the sea’in Hemingwayand my vision of it was the old man and a mermaid.”

Interestingly, the track was also re-recorded in the tribute Kiss My Ass. The person responsible for the version was the alternative rock group Dinosaur Jr.
