Songs by Billie Eilish and Ludwig Göransson took top honors in visual media categories
Oppenheimer AND Barbietwo of the most talked about and watched films of 2023 were honored with part of their soundtracks during the awards ceremony Grandmother 2024 this Sunday, 4 (to see the list of winners and nominees).
Oppenheimer won the best soundtrack category for visual media (including film and television), for the work of composer Ludwig Göransson.
Barbie won in the category of Best Soundtrack Compilation for Visual Media and in the category of Best Song Written for Visual Media, with What was I created for?by Billie Eilish, won.
In the latter the film also competed for its songs The world of Barbie, dance the night away AND I’m just Ken. Lift me upof pDark Anther: Wakanda Forever, by singer Rihanna, closed the list.
Songs related to the Barbie movie can still be awarded in the categories of recording of the year, song of the year, best pop solo performance and best rap song.
