In an interview with Pitchfork (via NME), the rapper clarified: “I would like to note that last night, my team and I fielded several calls from concerned fans and colleagues wanting to know if I was okay. I very much appreciate the concern and support, but I am more than that’s good.”
“As you can imagine, there was a lot going on and there was some confusion about which door my team and I should enter. We had an overzealous security guard, but my team and I have the utmost confidence that in the end I will be absolved of any error “, he added.
“Until then, keep listening Michael and keep chasing your dreams.”
Mike also spoke about prison during the program Big Tigger Morning Show: “We had a mishap and then we went back to the party, man,” he added. “We partied all night. Nothing happened, man. But we’re winners. That’s it.”
