Deezer reveals Bob Marley’s most listened to songs in streaming

The Deezer platform published this Tuesday (6) a list of the most streamed songs by the legendary Jamaican artist Bob Marley.

Marley sold more than 20 million records throughout his career, as well as consolidating the reggae throughout the world, still establishing itself today as a reference for artists of this musical style. Father of 11 children, Marley died cancer in May 1981, a 36 years old.

His songs and speeches mainly deal with spiritual themes – always strengthening love – and socio-political themes, such as the fight for social justice, black resistance AND defense of human rights. In 1978, the artist received the Third World Peace Medalguaranteed by UN.

A Deezer also revealed that the main listeners are from the city of Sao Paulo, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba AND Reciferespectively, to be 88% men AND 12% womenin the middle 36 and 45 years oldmainly.

To celebrate Marley’s work, the Deezer created a list of The 15 most listened to songs by the singer in the last year.
