After facing a series of problems at Carnival in saviorsinger Ivete Sangalo he cried and said he was thinking of saying goodbye to the traditional block of Coruja. The outburst occurred after a gas leak interrupted the artist’s performance and the trio had to be evacuated on Monday the 12th.

On Saturday 10th, the equipment of the trio that make up the Barra-Ondina circuit had another fault which caused a 3 hour delay in exiting the block. He had to ask the public for help so that singer Léo Santana’s trio could get through.

“How will I do it?”, asked the singer above the trio. He even pointed to a man present who was booing the artist: “I wanted to thank him and tell him: feel free. […] No problem, guys. I don’t want to be democratic for myself. I must be democratic for the sake of democracy.”

Ivete said the problems “filled his heart with anguish.” Regarding the delay on the first day, she commented: “I had to obey the rules of the universe. I had to obey because I am a person who is obedient to the rules from above. I am not bigger than the rules from above.”

Subsequently the Bahian artist said that “he will think about it” and spoke of a possible farewell. “Isn’t today our farewell to Coruja block? […] I’m your singer (sic), I’m not a singer who joins the trio and fucks everyone. I do not want it. This doesn’t do me any good,” he told her.

Ultimately, Ivete chose to continue commanding the trio. With this carnival the artist celebrates 30 years of career. Watch the video above.
