Michael Jackson Movie Reveals First Photograph


The official networks of Michael Jackson published this Tuesday the first photograph of the singer’s biographical film (13). The image shows Jaafar Jackson releasing his vocals on stage, in a recreation of the singer’s mannerisms during the “Dangerous” tour.

Jaafar Jackson is the son of Jermaine Jackson, one of Michael Jackson’s older brothers. The King of Pop’s nephew also tried his hand at singing and made his acting debut in the production about his uncle, who was called “Michael”.

Until then, his participation on recording sets consisted of appearances in relatives’ music videos and on the family’s reality show, “The Jacksons: Next Generation.” But it’s worth mentioning that Michael Jackson’s film has the late star’s family as executive producers.

Cast and production

The cast also includes Colman Domingo (“Fear the Walking Dead”) and Nia Long (“Certain People”) as Michael’s parents, and Miles Teller (“Top Gun: Maverick”) as John Branca, the manager of the ‘artist.

The project is entrusted to producer Graham King, who renewed interest in musical biopics with the success of “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The screenplay was written by John Logan, already nominated three times for an Oscar for “Gladiator” (2000), “The Aviator” (2004) and “The Invention of Hugo Cabret” (2011), and is directed by Antoine Fuqua (from “The Protector”).

Who died in 2009 at the age of 50, Michael Jackson was the most popular solo singer in the world, earning the title King of Pop, but his fame also highlighted his eccentric behavior, which included plastic surgery which made him more like a white man and his obsession with surrounding himself with children – to the point of calling his private property Neverland (where children did not become adults in the story of “Peter Pan” ). This closeness also led to allegations of child abuse against the singer.
