Sofia Gayoso is the artist from Paraíba who has stood out in the Brazilian music industry with a style that is still little explored, northeastern pop. After achieving greater success with a campaign with C&A, the artist releases her new song “lazy” in collaboration with Rapha Ota and Brolo Gonzalezthe track hits digital platforms this Friday, the 23rd.
“lazy” promises to be a great bet for the northeastern pop that has been growing in Brazil. Produced by Fresh Moringa, the track brings an engaging and refreshing atmosphere to listeners. Music video directed by Isadora Baptistaset amidst a carnival block in the metropolis of São Paulo, the video overflows the essence of the song, mixing carnival with the empowerment and self-affirmation conveyed by the lyrics.
“lazy‘ is about breaking with availability to people who don’t deserve it, it’s about stopping believing in false promises and taking control so as not to be just another casual contact in someone’s life. It’s refusing the role of ‘Pierrot’ in a relationship” he says Sofia Gayoso.
The single is part of a future album by the singer, but no information has yet been released about the process.
Sofia Gayoso also plans to release another track, titled “Parallel universe”which will be accompanied by a music video financed by Law Paulo Gustavo.
