The blonde managed to surpass the most weeks accumulated at the top of the Billboard 200 by placing three of her albums on the chart
Taylor Swift surpassed an old Beatles record by surpassing the most weeks at the top of the Billboard 200. The English rock group’s position had remained unchanged for 60 years, but the pop singer managed to reach the previous numbers.
The blonde changed scene after being considered the artist who appeared for the longest time in the TOP 10 of the main album chart with 384 weeks accumulated on the account. In Billboard’s latest update, she had three albums at the top: “1989 (Taylor’s Version)”; “Lovers” and “Midnight”. Up until then, the Beatles had remained at number one for 132 weeks with 19 albums between 1964 and 2001.
Importantly, earlier this year, Taylor Swift also replaced Elvis Presley’s position as solo artist with the most weeks at #1. The singer’s total number of weeks had risen to 68, while the king of rock had spent 67 weeks with ten albums at the top, between 1956 and 2002.
