Regis Danese revealed this Thursday (29/2) that he was traumatized by the serious car accident he suffered in August last year. On Instagram, the gospel singer stated that he is still recovering from his physical injuries.
“I am still recovering from the accident which left me very traumatized and I am also recovering physically every day. Everything in this life passes, even suffering is temporary,” Regis reflected. “Just pray for me that God will heal me completely. I know God saved me from death, I know, I’m not grumbling, I just need more time to recover. The blow was very strong, but I will overcome all this in the name of Jesus.”

Regis Danese was on his way to a show in the city of Ceres (GO) together with his brother, Daniel Danese, at the time of the collision with a truck on Rodovia BR153. He suffered two perforations in his intestine due to the car accident and was immediately taken to a hospital in Goiânia (GO), where he underwent emergency surgery.
The singer was transferred to another unit in Uberlândia to be close to his family. After the accident, he spent 19 days in hospital and was admitted to intensive care due to the severity of the accident.
In November 2023, the artist assured that the support of his wife Kelly Danese was fundamental during the healing process. She spent time wearing a brace after undergoing another invasive surgery.
