Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, an animation released in 2023 by Paramount, will have a sequel, as reported by Variety. According to the foreign portal there is little information on the new film, which however already has a release date: 9 October 2026.
Mutant chaos is an animation that traces the history of the Ninja Turtles in the so-called ‘style Spider-Verse‘. As usual, the film features Donatello (Micah Abbey), Michelangelo (Shamon Brown Jr.), Leonardo (Nicolas Cantu) and Raphael (Brady Noon) fighting crime in New York, as well as the group’s dilemma for citizen recognition .
One of the novelties of the film was the arrival of Jackie Chan as the voice actor, in the English version, of the martial arts master Splinter. The cast also features the voices of Seth Rogen as the villain Bebop and John Cena as Rocksteady.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird and made their first appearance in 1984 in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles magazine, published by Mirage Comics.
The characters marked generations at the height of their popularity, between the late 80s and early 90s, resulting in more and more content, such as films, animated television series, games, toys and many other products. They have gained worldwide fame and success, being recognized to this day.
