Megadeth announce date for new album and release single

Megadeth’s New Album Coming September 2nd

O megadeth confirmed the release of their next album The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead! for the 2nd of September. The band also released the single “We’ll Be Back”accompanied by a music video produced by the vocalist, Dave Mustaine.

As reported by Rolling Stone USthe video is the first of three to be released in a row and chronicles the mascot’s origin story Vic Rattlehead.The Sick, which illustrates the cover of the single. The album The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead! is the group’s 16th album and successor to dystopia(2016). They have been produced since 2019 amidst various events with the band members.

Dave Mustaine was diagnosed with throat cancer and had to cancel his entire tour that year. Then there was the dismissal of the bassist David Ellefson due to leaking intimate videos. James LoMenzo, who had already joined the band in the 2000s, took over the vacancy left by the former bassist.

Megadeth at Rock in Rio

The band would play at the festival on September 2, at the Mundo Stage, the same as Iron Maiden, Dream Theater and Sepultura + Brazilian Symphony Orchestra. But the festival organization said it is looking for a name to replace the group.
