‘Patient Number 9’, by Ozzy Osbourne and Jeff Beck, will be released next Friday, 24

Ozzy Osbourne released a snippet of their new single featuring Jeff Beckex-guitarist of yardbird. “Patient Number 9” It will be released next Friday the 24th.

Captioned “New music coming on Friday!” on Instagram and the mention of the artist and cartoonist Todd McFarlanethe excerpt features bats flying in front of a full moon and images of osbourne sitting on a bed.

The singer has his tour No More Tours2 scheduled for 2023 but with frequent postponements due to health problems and the coronavirus pandemic. Check out the snippet below.

In April, Ozzy Osbourne announced that their new album is ready. The successor album to ordinary man (2020) has been working since December when guitarist Andrew Watt declared that the songs were ‘almost done’. In addition to Watt, Ozzy counted on Robert Trujillo (Metallica) on bass, with Chad Smith (Red hot Chilli Peppers) and with Taylor hawkins (Foo Fighters) sharing drums. Hawkins would later die in March, during a tour of South America.

The following month during an appearance on The Graham Norton Radio Showan American comedy program broadcast by BBC, Ozzy stated that the album will be released in September.

Health problems

Earlier this month, the singer underwent surgery that “would define the rest of his life.” According to the American tabloid Page Six, the operation was to remove and realign pins in his neck and back that had been on his body since 2003, when Osbourne suffered a tricycle accident. Others were placed in 2019 after a fall suffered at home.

A source close to the family said the singer would go through a “long recovery” after the procedure. The 73-year-old singer also faces Parkinson’s disease, diagnosed since 2020.

After being discharged from the hospital in Los Angeles, Ozzy stated on Twitter that he is recovering.

“I am at home recovering comfortably. I definitely feel the love and support of all my fans. I send you a big thank you for your thoughts, prayers and good omens in this period of recovery,” said the singer.
