In 2023, presentations of the Panther at the Rock Am Ring and in Rock Im Park, in the cities of Nürburgring and Nuremberg, respectively, were cancelled. While Germany rejected the presentation of the Panther in the country, the Judas Priest joined the band in 2022, for a show in São Paulo, amid the Knotfest.
In an interview with Rolling Stone Brazil, Ian Hillbassist of the English group, vehemently stated that the accusations of Nazism directed at Anselmo they didn’t bother him. “We know Phil“, he argued. “We can’t believe it… When we don’t know enough, we can’t make statements about it.”
“We always got on well with him and obviously supported him,” he added. “I don’t know what these accusations resulted in. I don’t know if something happened or not,” he said Hillwithout showing much interest in the subject.
