Singer Madonna is expected to perform in Brazil in May, at the invitation of Itau. According to columnist Lauro Jardim of the newspaper O Globo, the show is confirmed for May 4th, on Copacabana beach.
The contract has not yet been signed and Madonna would have asked for another 3.5 million dollars (about R$ 17 million), according to Papelpop.
According to the website, Madonna’s new value has been covered and a beer brand will be sponsoring the event.
It is worth mentioning that the Celebratory ride has its last scheduled date in Mexico, April 26th.
The show in Rio de Janeiro will be the only show of Madonna’s commemorative tour of South America and is expected to be the largest audience of her career. In 1993 you sang in front of more than 120 thousand people at the MaracanĂ£.
