After the success of the first edition of the competition and with the aim of encouraging and promoting the rock AND heavy metalSummer Breeze Brasil announces the second edition of New blood. This is an opportunity for groups of this style to perform at the festival together with great artists from all over the world.
In this edition there is something new: in 2023 the competition has only accepted material from Brazilian bands. This time, the Brazilian summer breeze it also opens the doors to bands from all over Latin Americapromoting not only the rock and heavy metal scene but also a valuable cultural exchange.
To participate, interested parties must choose the best live video of your band (in the studio, show, lyric video with the band playing live), your best song and submit it to the event curator, who will be made up of expert personalities from the scene. Videos will be sent From 11th to 26th March.
Of all the material received, 10 groups/artists will be pre-selected. After the pre-selection, the Summer breeze will inform which bands have been selected, and there fans will be able to vote for the 10 selected bands/artists.
The band/artist with the most votes will perform at Summer Breeze Festival in April 2024 at Latin America Memorial.
Interested parties should send an email to newblood@summerbreezebrasil.com by entering the band name in the subject field.
In the body of the email indicate:
1. the name of the band
2. city/state/country
3. Suitable musical style
4. short summary of just three lines
5. Band video link available on YouTube
6. A photo that does not exceed 1 MB
This is an initiative of Summer breeze outdoors in Brazil to encourage and promote new bands. Here because, the event will not accept covers as material.
The winning band will be entitled to a 40 minute special show at the event with:
-Complete defender
– Changing room/Catering for band and team
– Accreditation for a maximum of 7 people (band and team).
– 1 pair of tickets – Summer Card valid for 04/28/24
The winner will be announced today April 17 on the official Instagram page of the Summer Breeze festival at @summerbreeze.brasil.
