Google with vacancies for engineering courses! O Google Registration for the third class of the program has started Tech Prep, a free course aimed at training in software engineering. Aimed exclusively at women and self-declared black, brown or indigenous individuals, the program aims to offer qualified preparation for the company’s selection processes.
In collaboration with the Ada, an educational platform specializing in technology, the program will select more than 240 participants in this edition. Registration is open from March 26 to May 12, 2024via the Ada website.
In this third edition, the Tech Prep, according to the technology giant, expanded both the number of vacancies and their scope. Now, in addition to black and brown individuals, the course is also available to women and self-declared indigenous people. Lasting four months and in an online format, the program will include two weekly remote classes. Thus, they will cover data structures and algorithms, in addition to English classes certified by Berlitz.
Google Immersion
Selected participants will have access to lectures by employees of the Google. In addition, they will participate in a mentoring program, take English classes and receive guidance on the interview process. At the end of the course, you will be invited to participate in selection processes in the Software Engineering area at Google, applying the technical knowledge acquired.

Those interested in registering for the Tech Prep must have an intermediate level of English and five years of professional experience in technology, or three years with academic training in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines. Google opens new engineering center
Furthermore, the Google recently announced the opening of another Engineering Center in Brazil, this time in São Paulo. Despite the launch scheduled for 2026, the company is already hiring a significant number of engineers in the country. Vacancies are available in several strategic areas, such as security, infrastructure and Search, both in São Paulo as in Belo Horizonte.
