Spotify launches artificial intelligence system for creating playlists

Spotify’s new functionality is now available in Australia and the United Kingdom

The music platform, Spotify, launched last Tuesday, 8th, a new functionality in its streaming, using artificial intelligence to create playlists. The new function “AI Playlist” It is now available to subscribers in Australia and the United Kingdom, but is not yet scheduled to arrive in Brazil.

The new functionality is still in the testing phase for users, and for now it is only possible to give music recommendations, but the company states that in the future it can be used for much more, such as collaborations with events.

“O Spotify will help you create a personalized playlist based on the tracks, artists and genres we think you’ll like. While it’s designed to be fun, the tool is still in beta and won’t produce results for non-music requests like current events or specific brands. We also have measures in place regarding offensive notices – so please use responsibly,” stated the Spotify.

Artificial intelligence works through commands, where the user phrases, or words and the platform is based on this to provide a list of songs for the different proposals or situations requested by the listener. And from this first list, the listener can refine it further to some style or another, rhythms, and customize it exactly as they wish.
