The South Korean girl group member is doing well and recovering after a collapsed lung
Singer Winter, a member of K-pop girl group aespa, is recovering well after undergoing surgery for pneumothorax, also known as a collapsed lung. The information was confirmed by the SM Entertainment agency this Friday (12).
Preventive surgery and smooth recovery
According to SM, the surgery was performed for preventive purposes, due to the pneumothorax’s tendency for recurrence. Winter is recovering at home and has already sent a reassuring message to her fans, MY, via the Bubble app.
The agency has not yet released information on Aespa’s future program, but has specified that the priority is the complete recovery of the blonde member of the group. “We will consider Winter’s recovery status as our top priority going forward,” SM said in a statement.
