With the voice of the original recording of Lulu Santos from 1982 mixed with beats and arrangements of Pedro Sampaio, Modern Times (Atemporal Remix) is reborn as one of the songs that will contain new memories and emotions. The combination of strong and positive lyrics, funk and the producer’s voice gave the song a modern and vibrant touch, with a partnership that goes beyond the music.
For the clip, directed by Guilherme Brehm the concept was to do a sort of time travel, in which we will see the Lulu Santos of the 80s connecting to a treasure chest of memories it will bring Pedro Sampaio to a past, full of hopes for a different future, moving towards freedom and modernity.
It is this Pedro who will take Lulu into a future where everyone can be who they want, love who they want, and create even more special memories of a life that can be lived. So that in this reflection between the “live everything there is to live” and the powerful “let’s allow ourselves”, the two artists bring to the present a glimpse of these infinite possibilities of fully living one’s choices.
