“Caça Like” is a response to the criticism the singer received while giving birth on the reality show
Wanessa Camargo releases “Caça Like,” a song inspired by everything she experienced and learned on Big Brother Brazil. ”Perfect gentlemen, I ask your permission to make mistakes. I know it’s difficult, but I want to talk without anyone interrupting me,” Wanessa sings at the beginning of the single, responding to the countless criticisms she received during her period of imprisonment. “When I left the BBB, I was bombarded with information and requests. I needed time to organize myself and understand the extent of everything that had happened. I looked for professionals who could help me in this process and I thought a lot about different aspects of my life. This is how I began my process of Afrobeticization,” says the sister who was disqualified for assault and accused of racism on social networks. She has partnered with Afro Consult, a consultancy led by professionals specializing in Afro-Brazilian history, diversity and human rights issues.
The music is composed by Wanessa, Nai, Gavi, Daniel Ferreira and Marco Lima, and produced by CANETARIA, Jards and Marco Lima. “Caça Like” is the first single after the album “Livre”, released in 2023. Wanessa’s first show is scheduled for May 10 at Audio, Sao Paulo.
