The funk artist announced a lottery in December last year with a prize of ten cars and another of R$200,000
MC Daniel was sued by a fan who allegedly lost money after winning a lottery announced by the funk artist, in December 2023. The prize offered was a trailer with ten cars and another prize of R$ 200,000.
The winner announcement was shared by Daniel on December 11, but the video was deleted shortly after. “I’ll give you Fafá’s Christmas truck, is it closed? Ten cars for you. It’s not one, it’s not two, it’s not three, it’s not four, it’s not five. It’s ten, it’s closed? For you to spend the end of ‘year of snoring,’ the funk singer writes in the publication.
“I went crazy. I almost had a heart attack when I saw it [que ganhei]. I tried to get in touch with him, I tried with his mother, with the team, with everyone. I saw that I couldn’t do it, so I decided to file a complaint,” said the fan, who believes it was used by someone with malicious intent.”[MC Daniel] He is a person who appears to be very good. However, I think the people he was involved with to organize the lottery were not in good faith.”
MC councilor Daniel has not commented so far.
