In the records, made in Argentina in 1978, the singer performs ‘O Leãozinho’, ‘Falsa Baiana’ and ‘Antonico’
In the midst of the controversial dispute between Gabriele Costa AND Wilma Petrillo by inheritance of Gal Costa (1945-2022), three rare recordings by the singer have been made available on YouTube. These are records made in 1978, during the singer’s tour in Argentina.
The recordings were published in January this year by a channel whose owner is not identified, but have only now had repercussions. The author of the publication informs that the recordings were made during the soundcheck that Gal did in a hotel in the Argentine capital in October 1978.
Accompaniing himself on the guitar, Gal sings three songs. One of them is The little lion, a composition by Caetano Veloso that he never recorded. The song was part of the show’s script. The audio from Gal’s latest show, for example, held at the Coala festival in September 2022, is ready and mixed, but so far there is no release date.
