In a contemporary world where artificial intelligence dominates everything and makes days even more challenging, São Paulo reggae band Bamboo BR presents “Pressa”, a single featuring Regiane Cordeiro AND Bighetti, to protest and warn against the pressure, desire and speed of modern life today. The song will hit music apps this Friday (3), with a clip on YouTube.
The band’s new sound is divided into three parts, with a unique sonic atmosphere in which each composer can convey their voice and message on busy days. Furthermore, the musical production was handled by Henrique Lanza, of AudioHouse Studio, and Ade, the singer of Bamboo BR. The music video is directed by Ygor Carvalho, who worked with names like Mano Brown, Flora Mattos and DJ KL Jay
Ade also said that the focus of the new song isn’t just diving into the problems AI has in everyday life, but, rather, the genuine, loving connections between everyone. “I also question the sincerity of those who are good at patting themselves on the back while secretly speaking badly about you. But, more than simply lamenting this reality, “Hurry” is an invitation to the listener to reflect on the importance of slowing down, prioritizing what really matters, and cultivating authentic connections.“, account.
Bighetti revealed that he focused his part as a criticism against envious people and the evil that comes from this feeling. “The ant always knows which leaf it will cut. My grandmother often said that, even in the face of great adversity, it is extremely necessary to trust your instincts.“.
Regiane Cordeiro, with whom he has already shared the voice Marina Peralta AND From Ghama, former guitarist of Cidade Negra, she evoked her ancestors to connect with the bittersweet feeling of being an independent singer in Brazil. “When I composed my part in the lyrics of “Pressa”, I demonstrated exactly how I feel protected in a completely ancestral way, to face the pains and joys of being an independent singer in Brazil“.
