Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is ‘surprisingly well’ after rehab

Steven Tylerlead singer of aerosmithhas come out of rehab and is excited to get back on stage, according to TMZ. Sources close to the singer told the website that they are proud of the battle he has faced and that he left the clinic earlier this week.

According to TMZ, Tyler stayed longer than the required 30 days to ensure he was feeling fully recovered. Sources claim that the singer is “surprisingly well” not only mentally but also physically, stating that he is at a healthy weight and skin looks great.

The website also claims that it received information that Tyler he is aware of the problem he is struggling with and recognizes the addiction. The announcement that the singer was admitted to the rehabilitation clinic took place in May of this year, when the band published a statement on social media:

“As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven worked on his sobriety for many years. After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and needing pain management during the process, he recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to focus on his health and recovery.”

aerosmith had a series of shows in Las Vegas scheduled for the month of June, which were canceled so that Tyler could be treated. According to sources heard by the site, the musician is ready to return to the stage in new performances.
