Rock in Rio publishes music videos recorded by more than 55 Brazilian artists


The initiative of the festival and the artists, who will donate all the rights to the new music, aims to spread a message of hope for a better world

Rock in Rio released the music video for “Deixa o Coração Falar” on Sunday (5/5), which brings together more than 55 Brazilian artists with the aim of spreading a message of hope for a better world. The meeting marks one of the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the event, born as a rock festival in 1985.

The recording took place at Cidade das Artes (RJ) two weeks ago, with the participation of Ivete Sangalo, Pedro Sampaio, IZA, Jão, Veigh, Daniela Mercury, Jorge Aragão, Luísa Sonza, Ludmilla, MC Daniel, Péricles, Alcione, Carlinhos Brown, Diogo Nogueira, Ana Castela, Buchecha, Xamã, -Barão Vermelho), Paulo Xisto (Sepultura), Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) and Rogério Flausino (Jota Quest).

Available on digital platforms, the song contributes to two NGOs supported by the festival: Ação da Cidadania, to fight hunger, and Gerando Falcões, through Favela 3D. The rights of the artists involved in the project will also be donated to the causes.

Rock in Rio will take place on 13, 14, 15, 19, 20 and 21 September 2024.
