On International Reggae Day we separate 10 vinyl records for those who are a fan of Bob Marley
On June 1st, the International Day of reggae, an extremely important genre in the history of music. Who set the date was the Jamaican organizer Andrea Davis inspired by the speech of Winnie Mandela in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1992. In the speech, winnie admires Reggae for encouraging, inspiring and uniting people.
Reggae has been a major influence on Jamaica’s cultural and musical roots giving rise to iconic figures such as Bob Marley.
