Singer Roberto Carlos made a donation worth R$200,000 to help flood victims Rio Grande do Sul and intends to organize an “exhibition with entirely donated income” for the State in the coming weeks.
OR Estadao contacted the singer’s team, who informed: “He asked the technical team to provide a space to be able to hold a show whose proceeds will be entirely donated to the state of Rio Grande do Sul. If all goes well, in the next 3 weeks we will have more information .”
After the show in honor of Mother’s Day this Sunday the 12th in Santos, the next appointment on the ‘King’ agenda is scheduled for next month, June 16th, when he will perform some shows in the United States.
Rio Grande do Sul is in a state of public disaster, with blockages on highways, bridges and access roads, crises in the supply of consumer goods and lack of water and energy in some municipalities. The rain is expected to continue this weekend.
