The program features an unprecedented presentation where the artist explores the musicality of jazz and other styles
The band Bufo Borealis will have a dedicated program in the series Instrumental Sesc Brasilwhich will be broadcast on SescTV on May 23, at 9:30 pm. The show was recorded at Sesc Consolação in 2023.
In addition to the presentation, the program will include a making of which explores the band’s creative process, repertoire selection, partnerships and the formation of the group. Bufo Borealis will perform songs from the albums “Horizontal Pupils” (2020) and “Diptera” (2021), which bring influences ranging from jazz, funk to psychedelic groove.

Formed by Juninho Sangiorgio (Basement rats), Anderson Quevedo, Rodrigo Saldanha, Paulo Kishimoto, Tadeu Dias and Vicente Tassarathe experimental jazz funk band, whose name is inspired by a poisonous frog, reflects the diverse trajectories of its members in the Brazilian music scene.
