Jack White revealed which project divides the most opinions in his career: the theme track for a James Bond. The singer composed “Another Way To Die” with Alicia Keys for the movie 007 – Quantum of Solace(2008).
As explained in the podcast Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend (via NME), many people hate music, while others love it. Second Whitethere is no middle ground, especially among Brits, who take the franchise seriously.
“It’s one of the most divisive projects I’ve been a part of,” he said. “People always say you either love it or you hate it. That song… there are people who hate it a lot, while others love it. No place in between. It’s very strange,” he continued.
jack recalled how the theme track of the 007 films is a common conversation in England: “The themes of bond – in the UK, for example – are common conversation over breakfast. ‘What’s your favorite theme?’ it’s almost who you are as a person.
Finally, the author of the hit “Seven Nation Army” revealed to have been the second option of the production. Amy Winehouse was supposed to record the track, but it didn’t show up in the studios and had to be replaced.
“So it was like, ‘We’re running out of time, we need someone else.’ I thought, ‘That’s great, because now I’m going to get away with it, I’m going to put snippets in this song that they would never approve of.”

The musician comes to Brazil in October 2022 as an attraction for the Popload Festival. pixies, Chet Faker, Years & Years are the main names of the event that returns after two years of a pandemic.
From a new house, the festival will take place at Centro Esportivo Tietê, a park in the central region of São Paulo. Cat Power, Perota Chingó and Neighborhood Jump complete the lineup of artists, mixing national and international alternative names.
