Audiences don’t want to pay more than R$300 for shows, according to Serasa

Research carried out by Serasa also showed that around 62% of those interviewed go to shows by national artists once a year.

One of the biggest Brazilian memes on the internet is “eat to Brazil” (“come to Brazil,” in free translation), used mainly for singers and bands to perform in the country. However, according to research by Serasathere is a catch: the public does not want to pay more than R$300 for admission.

As Splash reported from the study, seven out of 10 Brazilian concertgoers commented how the highest amount paid for a performance was up to R$300, while 70% said they would not pay more than that for a ticket. Furthermore, around 62% of those interviewed go to shows by national artists at least once a year.

It is worth highlighting how the Serasa collected data from 1,398 people, in March 2024, for research carried out in collaboration with the institute Opinion Box. The aim was to understand how consumers organize themselves to participate in live shows and festivals.
