Last Wednesday (22), the Social Security, Social Assistance, Childhood, Adolescence and Family Commission of the Chamber of Deputies approved a motion to repudiate the show Madonna.
“The indignation of the Brazilian citizen, which this document expresses and accompanies, is fully justified, expressing the desire of this Assembly that similar events do not once again cloud the faith and values of the majority of our population“, say the authors of the text.
The authors of the request are the deputies Chris Tonietto (PL-RJ), Cristiane Lopes (União-RO), Clarissa Tércio (PP-PE), Dr. Allan Garcês (PP-MA) and Julia Zanatta (PL-SC). They claim that the content presented was “harmful, with a strong erotic inclination”.
It is worth mentioning that Madonna performed in Rio de Janeiro on May 4th in front of an audience of 1.6 million people.
