The journalist and editor terrane Estranho promote a series of events related to music and literature
Editora Terreno Estranho, which publishes books by Nick Cave, Bob Gillespie of Primal Scream, Mark Lanegan, Fabio Massri, among others, promotes the shows of the groups Wry and Sky Down at Fenda 315 in Sao Paulo. The party bears the Reverendo 60 anos brand, nicknamed in honor of Fabio Massari, who turns 60 this year and will curate a series of music-related events.
In addition to the Wry and Sky Down shows, there will be DJing by Terreno Estranho Sound System and the pre-launch of the book Good pop bad pop by Jarvis Cocker, singer, lyricist and founder of the English band Pulp.
With a trajectory that helps tell the story of Brazilian alternative rock, WRY brings to the stage its main songs, as well as songs from the last three albums released after the pandemic, such as the award-winning “Noites Infinitas” and the album “Aurora”, which received great response from music critics, having been included in the list of the 50 best albums of 2022 by the APCA Award – Associação Paulista de Créticos de Arte.
Sky Down is a power trio formed in the city of Santo André in 2011 and includes Caio Felipe (guitar and vocals), Nova Butler (bass and vocals) and André Ricardo (drums). With post-punk, alternative rock and noise influences, the band has two albums under its belt, as well as EPs, singles and participation in tributes and compilations. After visiting the interior of São Paulo, the main concert halls of the capital, Rio de Janeiro, the Federal District and other states. His latest work titled Lethargy (2023) with a cover by Polish artist Aleksandra Waliszewska, has a music video choreographed by Mariana Taques and directed by Caio Nogali.
