The show marks the return of the “guitar master” to the country after more than a decade

Eric Clapton has opened an extra date in the tour that will pass through Brazil. This time, with an intimate show scheduled for September 28th in Sao Paulo.

General tickets for the extra date will go on sale June 6 Live broadcast.

For Santander cardholder customers, the presale will be available on June 4th, at 10am, and will last until the 6th, at 8am.

Tickets range from R$140 (partial view for upper audiences) to R$2,200 (cabin). Prices for the single track range from R$850 (half price) to R$1,700.

The presentation will take place at Vibra San Paoloin Av. das Nações Unidas, 17955. The house has a capacity of 7 thousand people, which would bring Clapton closer to the public.

The tour marks the musician’s return to Brazil after more than a decade to celebrate 60 years of career.

More Clapton shows in Brazil

Clapton’s other performances are scheduled in Curitiba, on September 24th, Rio de Janeiro, on the 26th and Sao Paulo, at Allianz Parque, on the 29th of the same month. Tickets remain available on the site Live broadcast. Prices vary from city to city.

In Curitiba it will take place at the Ligga Arena with tickets ranging from From R$ 225 (Upper Chair half price) to R$ 1.2 thousand (VIP, Sports Bar and Box). In Rio de Janeiro, the show, scheduled at the Jeunesse Arena, is sold at prices ranging from R$ 230 (Upper Chair half price) to R$ 1,500 (Sidebar). Finally, tickets for São Paulo – the show will take place at Allianz Parque – are sold at prices ranging from R$215 (half-price Superior seat) to R$1,200 (Premium route).

The country performances will feature an opening show by Grammy-winning singer and guitarist Gary Clark Jr.

Clapton’s last visit here was in 2011, when he played in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre.
