The Lemonheads will record the album in Sao Paulo


Taking advantage of their arrival in the country, Evan Dando’s band will perform in the capital of São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Florianópolis

The band Lemonheads, led by Evan Dando, chose São Paulo to record their new album, the first of their new albums since 2006. There is no release date yet, the album will be recorded at A9 Audio with production by the Brazilian Apollo Nove, who has previously worked with Rita Lee, Seu Jorge and international artists.

While waiting for the release of the new album, the first single, “Fear of Living”, is now available on streaming platforms. For the song, composed in collaboration with the musician Dan Lardner, singer and guitarist of the New York band QTY, who passed away in June, Dando played all the instruments.

Shows in Brazil

Taking advantage of their arrival in Brazil, the American band, which marked alternative rock in the 90s with the excellent album “It’s a Shame About Ray” (1992), will perform in the country during the month of July.

The band will play on July 12th at Distrital, in Belo Horizonte, on the 13th at JohnBull, in Florianópolis, and on the 19th at Cine Joia, in Sao Paulo. Tickets for the Belo Horizonte show are on sale on the Sympla website, for Florianópolis on the Pensa no Evento website and in Sao Paulo on the Cine Joia website.
